Life Baptist Church is a local, Bible-believing Baptist church in Danbury, Connecticut. Since our founding, we’ve remained committed to preaching the truth of God’s Word, loving our community, and making disciples for Jesus Christ.

Our church is known for its warm, family-friendly atmosphere, its solid biblical teaching, and its faithful presence in the region. We believe New England is a mission field, and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve here.

Our Pastor

Pastor Richard J. DeMoss has served at Life Baptist Church since 1981. He began his ministry as Associate Pastor, focusing on youth and family ministries. In 1988, he became the Senior Pastor.

Pastor DeMoss holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Missions from Boston Baptist College and a Master’s Degree in Theology from Liberty University. His heart is to equip believers, stand firm on God’s Word, and serve the Lord faithfully.

We exist to:

Glorify God in all that we do, teach and preach the whole counsel of God, and strengthen and equip believers. We seek to fulfill the Great Commission and reach the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ
