What We Believe
At Life Baptist Church, our beliefs are grounded in the Bible as the final authority for faith and practice. We affirm the following core truths:
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, preserved Word of God, and our sole authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
God
We believe in one true God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, sinless in life, and that He died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again bodily the third day.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone—not of works—and that all who receive Him are eternally secure.
The Church
We believe the local church is a congregation of baptized believers, autonomous and free from external authority, whose mission is the evangelization of the world and the edification of the saints.
Baptism & the Lord’s Supper
We believe in two ordinances: baptism by immersion following salvation, and the Lord’s Supper as a memorial of His sacrifice.
The Future
We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ, the bodily resurrection of the saved to eternal life, and the lost to eternal separation from God.
